Super Mighty Minis was designed to allow drivers who had the minimum of a years experience in any form of motorsport to compete against other experienced drivers. This removes the likelihood of novice drivers causing unnecessary mishaps. These cars are 1.3 Single point injection Mini Coopers and the regulations allow for Perspex windows, a balanced engine, lightening of the car, anti roll bars, and a much more flexible suspension set up, these cars use the GAZ shock absorbers and Yokohama tyres (O48R) as mandatory.
Many of the items for the conversion are supplied by Mini Spares Ltd. All cylinder heads are supplied by Mighty Minis racing and must not be further modified. The increase of power found through this modification is 30%.
